1. WHOM TO CONTACT IN CASE OF QUESTIONS?

FinSkills BV, hereinafter referred to as METI-C, with its registered office at 9500 Geraardsbergen, Oudenaardestraat 48 and registered under number BE 0684.803.370, is the Processor of your personal data. METI-C shall process your personal data in accordance with the legal provisions in force, as well as the provisions on direct marketing of Book XII of the Code of Economic Law and the obligations arising from Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter “GDPR”).

2. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?

The GDPR defines personal data as follows: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

Where this Privacy Policy refers to personal data, reference is made to this definition from the GDPR.

3. WHICH PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED?

We process various personal data. It concerns the following personal data:

– Your name, address details, gender, date of birth, telephone number;

– E-mail address and password;

– Curriculum vitae, motivation letters, test results and notes made during the job interview;

– Photographs and videos

– LinkedIn profile, if any;

– Preferred language;

– Preferences regarding employment and region of employment;

– Current job and salary package;

– Your IP address, surfing behaviour, search terms entered.

In order to achieve a good match between a potential job and the candidate, METI-C can request the references provided by the candidate. This is to gain a better understanding of the candidate’s competencies and work experience, among other things. METI-C shall only proceed with the consultation as soon as it has a concrete vacancy available.

4. WHY ARE THESE PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED AND WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING?

Your personal identification data are processed in order to inform you about vacancies with the legal basis of your consent.

Your personal data will be processed by us for the purpose of customer management with your consent as the legal basis.

Your CV and motivation letter, LinkedIn profile, preferred language, preferences regarding employment and region of employment will be processed for the purpose of completing the application process and on the legal basis of our legitimate interest and your consent.

Photos and videos are collected and processed for the purpose of internal and external communication within the context of job placement and employment on the legal basis of your prior consent.

If photos and videos are used for other purposes, your explicit permission will be asked in advance.

Your e-mail address and password will be processed for the management of your account on this website for the purpose of using our website with your prior consent.

Your personal identification data, telephone number and e-mail address will be processed for direct marketing purposes on the legal basis of our legitimate interest and your consent.

Your personal data can also be used for marketing purposes, statistical research and to better adjust our products and services to your needs, with the legal basis of your permission.

Your IP address, surfing behavior and entered search terms are processed in order to maintain and improve this website and to include personal data in anonymous statistics, from which the identity of specific persons or companies cannot be retrieved, with our legitimate interest to continuously improve our website and services and your permission.

5. DURATION OF PROCESSING

We process your personal data for a period that is necessary in relation to the purposes of the processing.

6. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

a) Right of access and inspection

You have the right to access, free of charge at any time, your personal data, as well as the use we make of your personal data in accordance with the provisions applicable in the sector.

 

b) Right to rectification, erasure and restriction

You are free to communicate your personal data to us or not. In addition, you are always entitled to request us to improve, complete or delete your personal data.

 

You may also request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

 

c) Right of opposition

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons.

 

d) Right of data transfer

You have the right to obtain and/or transfer your personal data processed by us in a structured, accessible and machine-readable form, in accordance with the provisions applicable in the sector.

7. TRANSMISSION TO THIRD PARTIES

The personal data you provide may be passed on to potential employers. If necessary, these data can also be made anonymous.

The personal or company data you provide can be passed on by METI-C for all purposes to affiliated companies (such as subsidiaries and sister companies), and, for the purposes of statistical research and marketing, to other third parties.

Some third parties process personal data on behalf of our organisation in order to perform a certain task. These recipients are: accountants, consultants and others in the context of accounting, tax and other legal support, and IT service providers. We conclude processing agreements with all these organisations, which act as processors, and make every effort to ensure that they adequately protect your personal data.
